Compliance Framework
We are proactive in our efforts to address the current status and challenges of compliance.
“Compliance" is the foundation for a company's activities within society.
The FEED ONE Group has defined the following compliance actions based on the Employee Code of Conduct in order to enhance its corporate value while pursuing solid and efficient corporate management.
- 1Conform to laws and regulations, corporate ethics, and social norms, and strive to maintain social orders.
- 2Identify problems from client and consumer perspectives, and focus on solving them to enhance corporate value.
The Compliance Committee
FEED ONE has established a Compliance Committee to ensure that all officers and employees of the FEED ONE Group are thoroughly familiar with the Code of Conduct based on compliance (compliance with ethics and laws), to investigate and deliberate on various compliance-related issues of the Group, to determine action policies, etc., and to issue instructions and disseminate them to the Group as necessary. The Compliance Committee is chaired by the director in charge of compliance and meets quarterly. When deemed necessary, the Compliance Committee Chairman may request the attendance of outside parties, legal counsel, etc., to hear their opinions.
Internal Reporting System
FEED ONE operates an internal reporting system to ensure the early detection and correction of misconduct, etc., by establishing a system for the appropriate handling of consultations and reports from employees, etc., concerning organizational or individual violations of laws and regulations at the FEED ONE Group companies. Through this system, directors and employees can report and consult directly with internal and external specialized agencies without going through the internal chain of command. In addition, each director and employee is provided with a copy of the "Internal Reporting System Regulations" that clearly explains the system and how to use it, and is made aware of this system.
