Through Business
Based on the following three items (climate change, resource conservation, and environmental preservation - biodiversity), which we have set forth as environmental issues, we will fulfill our social responsibility by actively working to prevent global warming, preserve biodiversity, and foster environmental awareness among our employees.
Climate Change
As a compound feed manufacturer, we believe that our social mission is to "play a part in the formation of a sustainable low-carbon society to curb global warming, reduce the FEED ONE Group's risk from climate change, and protect the environment in which people and other living things can live". We will strive to reduce direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions not only by reducing energy use at manufacturing sites and offices, but also by promoting various initiatives in the livestock and fisheries industries.
Resource Protection
Together with our stakeholders, we strive to conserve resources and reduce waste, aiming to realize a resource-recycling society. We are working to conserve natural resources and reduce food loss through our Feed and Food businesses. We are also committed to reducing the environmental impact of waste by properly disposing of waste generated at our feed manufacturing sites and offices based on the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Environmental Conservation (Biodiversity)
We promote initiatives that contribute to the preservation of biodiversity. Through our efforts to protect the environment, including ecosystems, we contribute to the realization of a sustainable society in which diverse forms of life support each other.
